Declaration of Holy Quran about Astronomies and the Views of Professor Armstrong

Professor Armstrong was asked various questions about the verses of Quran related to his field of work and specialization. He was asked: “ You discovered and saw the true nature of the astronomy and by the use of equipments like satellites and rockets that are developed by man. You have also seen the facts that are mentioned by the Holy Quran various centuries ago. So what is your opinion about the relation of the findings of science related with Holy Quran?

Quran, Holy Quran, Qur’an, learn Quran, learn Quran online,

Professor Armstrong was quite astonished to see the findings and he said that I am very much impressed with the findings of Holy Quran and how they correlate with the modern science, he also admitted that “ I am not sufficient enough scholar of the human history to project myself some 1400 years ago and predict all the truth.  If you Learn Quran, you will find about some of the greatest truths about astronomy that scientists have explained today.

He explained that there are some findings beyond his understandings and an ordinary human being will not be able to account for the writings that have been seen. Upon asking about the facts of Quran, Armstrong said:

” I am quite impressed by finding the true facts of astronomy in the Holy Quran, and for all the modern astronomers who are studying a small piece of universe. As with the help of telescopes, we are only able to see the whole universe. So by reading Holy Quran, we think that we can find more ways for the future investigations.”

The Magnificence Of Qur’an From Ahadees

The Holy Qur’an is the word of Allah (SWT) which was revealed on the heart of Rasulullah (Sallallaho Alaihe Wasallam).  It was the heart of Rasulullah (Sallallaho Alaihe Wasallam) that accepted the pressure otherwise mountains couldn’t bear the pressure of the Qur’an. Allah Ta’ala says in the Holy Quran: “Had We sent down this Qur´an on a mountain, verily, thou wouldst have seen it humble itself and cleave asunder for fear of Allah. Such are the similitudes which We propound to men, that they may reflect”.

The Qur’an is the book which addresses the apparent needs of mankind and it addresses the spiritual needs of the mankind as well.  The Qur’an will protect its followers on judgment day. The following Hadith beautifully explains the rewards related to the Qur’an:

“Hazrat Mu’aaz Juhani (Radhiy Allaho Anho) reports that Rasulullah Muhammad (Sallallaho Alaihi WA sallam) said. “Whoever reads the Qur’an and acts upon what is contained in it, his parents will be made to wear a crown on the Day of Judgment, the brilliance of which will excel that of the sun, if the same were within your worldly houses. So, what do you think about the person who himself acts upon it?”

Another beautiful Hadith talks about the Glory of Qur’an: “Uqbah Ibn ‘Aamir (Radhiy Allaho Anho) narrated that Rasulullah (Sallallaho Alaihe Wasallam) said, “If the Qur’an is placed in a skin and then put in the fire, it will not get burnt.” May Allah Ta’ala have mercy on all of us.

What Quran Learning can bring to humans

There comes a time in every person’s life when they find themselves inclined greatly to think what they are here for in this world, the purpose of their life, who created them, and most importantly, who created all of this (the whole universe).

This state of mind, when not addressed appropriately by feeding appropriate answers to it, can lead a person to get strayed; not only becoming oblivious to everything going around him, but also from his own being.

To stay away from such a situation, the best way is to heed to what creator of the whole universe, i.e. The Mighty Allah tells you to, and that is nothing other than teachings of Quran and Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). Quran learning is the best way to go for, if you want to achieve this purpose.

You will better understand this by going through the content of Qur’an as explained in this chapter of the Holy Book:

In the Name of God, the Lord of Grace, the Ever Merciful We have always sent messages (of guidance) as a mercy from your Lord. He alone is the One who hears all and knows all, the Lord of the heavens and the earth and all that is between them, if only you were firm believers. There is no deity other than Him; He gives life and deals death. He is your Lord and the Lord of your earliest ancestors. Yet they remain in doubt, playing about. (Smoke; Al-Dukhan; 44: 5-10)

This shall serve a motivation and inspiration enough to compel every single person in this world towards Quran Learning, because this is just one instance of Holy Qur’an, with whole of it filled by specimens like these. That is why learning of Quran is so important as per Islamic traditions.

Quran Recitation Gets You Closer To The Mightiest

Al-Araf [7:2] A book revealed unto thee― so let thy heart be oppressed no more by any difficulty on that account that with it thou mightest warn (the erring) and teach the Believers.

This verse intimates us that Allah Almighty has blessed us with a book that helps humans get away from any kind of difficulty and strengthens our hearts against any kind of difficulty. This book, of course, is no other than Holy Quran, a document containing the final message from Allah Almighty to guide humanity on the right path till The Day of Judgment.

This also indicates that if we want any kind of help and strength, we should resort to the that book, and what else could serve us better in this regard, other than Quran recitation. Recitation of Quran is such a honored act that it connects human beings directly with Allah Almighty, helping them seek guidance and mercy from The Mightiest.

“Be sure we will test you with something of fear and hunger, some loss in goods or lives, but give glad tidings to those who are steadfast, who say when afflicted with calamity: To Allah we belong and to him is our return. They are those on who (DESCEND) blessings from Allah and mercy and they are the ones that receive guidance.”

Surah Al-Baqarah [2:155]

The verse quoted above tells us that to segregate true believers from non-believers, Allah Almighty has chosen to test humans with different types of harsh situations, but He has also descended upon them His mercy and guidance, and the ones seeking those blessings will get true guidance.

Therefore, the honored act of quran recitation should be a part of our daily lives, so that we might be able to seek accord of The Mightiest and get strength against any hardships and difficulties.

Benefits Of Praying And Reading Online Quran In Ramadan

Allah has blessed us with the Holy Month of Ramadan which enables us to gather blessings and mercy of Allah by which we can come close to him. Prophet Muhammad (Peace be Upon Him) was the one to set this example. Those who believed in Muhammad and his teachings followed his path to be successful among the noble persons. The best advice that anyone can give to a person is to fear Allah during this blessed month as well as recite Online Quran to get the mercy of Allah.

But the month of Ramadan has special merit and significance that Allah has described and it is a unique occasion for performing good deeds. The Prophet would then supplicate to Allah in order to allow him to reach Ramadan. The Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him) has encouraged his companions to strive hard for performing good deeds during the month of Ramadan. The good deeds include prayer, charity, showing goodness and kindness, being patient while obeying Allah and spending his day with fasting, 1 night of praying and one hour of Quran recitation in order to get Allah’s mercy.

For some people the month of Ramadan has nothing to offer except various types of food and beverages. So they go to great extent in giving up their souls what they desire and then spend lot of time in buying foods and drinks. We all know that eating too much food can result in laziness and thus a person might not be able to devote whole time for worship.

Quran Learning In Arabic – An Essential For Muslims

Knowing how to read and recite Quran is essential for all Muslims. This is important because Quran is a complete and the most authentic source of guidance for Muslims. Quran forms an important part of the life of all Muslims as it provides direction and help for all important matters of life.

It is for this reason that Muslim parents start encouraging their children to gain Islamic knowledge and learn how to read Quran from an early age. For this reason, most parents register their children with online Quran schools to facilitate Quran learning for their children. These schools offer basic learning of Quran to these children along with memorization of Quran and learning Quran with Tajweed rules.

However, most Muslims know how to read and recite Quran but they are unaware of what the Quranic verses mean because they cannot understand the language. This means that most Muslims cannot understand the Quran even if they are able to understand it. Therefore, it is important for Muslims to have some knowledge about the Arabic language as well. If these Muslims can understand Quran, they will be able to also comprehend the meaning and the purpose of different verses of the Quran.

According to a Hadith,

“Do they not then think deeply in the Qur’aan (Quran / Koran), or are their hearts locked up (from understanding it)?”

This hadith clearly depicts the importance and significance of understanding the teachings of the Holy book. Therefore, it will be very rewarding for you if you take some time out to understand Quran teachings.

The Life Of Muslims After The Loss Of Muhammad (Pbuh)

Muhammad (pbuh) was the last prophet sent by Allah on this earth for the guidance of mankind, but when he died, it was an unrecoverable loss to the Muslims. At that time Hazrat Abu Bakar (R.A) addressed to all Muslims: “You will die and they will die, and Muhammad is but a Messenger of a guarantee, all Messengers before him have been expired. If then, he die or be murdered, will you rotate back on your heels? Whosoever worships Muhammad (pbuh), let him then know that Muhammad in fact is dead; but whoso worshipped Allah (SWT), let him know that Allah lives and does not die.”

Without the leadership, the Muslim community felt that they can’t move on with the torch of Islam without any guide, thus after the death of Muhammad (pbuh), Hazrat Umer and Abu Bakar were selected as the leaders to torch the light of Islam. They helped people in every step of life and provided the true guidance to strengthen the faith on Allah and finally they completed the foundation of Islamic Territory.

After the loss of Muhammad (pbuh), Hazrat Abu Bakar was the first caliph of Islam and faced many difficulties throughout his headship especially, when war broke out between numerous tribes. After the death of Abu Bakar, Umer became the second caliph of Islam as a strong leader with both military and political capabilities. Both these caliphs built the political structure to strengthen the grip of Islam with the tolerance because they followed holy Quran to cheer other non-believers to hold Islam as their Deen.

By Allah, I am more obedient to Allah and more frightened of Him than you; yet I fast and break my fast, I do sleep and I also marry women. So he who does not follow my custom in religion, is not from my followers.” narrated by Anas bin Maalik:

Hope this will be encouraging for all Muslims to avoid evils. InshaAllah

Idol Worship: Why Do The Muslims Worship, And Bow Down To The Kaaba In Their Prayer?

Kaaba is the house of Allah or the holiest place of worship and it is the Qibla or the direction that Muslims face during their prayers. There is the need of intellectual abilities to think that Muslims just face the Kaaba to offer their prayers but not bow to it. The purpose to face the Kaaba is the proof of the unity of all Muslims on one point that Allah is one and there is no one whom we worship except Allah. Quran Reading is the best habit if we try to develop it on our daily basis so surly we will come to know the realities of Islam and its rules.

“We see the turning of thy face (for guidance) to the heavens: now shall we turn thee to a Qibla that shall please thee. Turn then thy face in the direction of the holy Mosque: wherever ye are, turn your faces in that direction.”(2:144). you will be surprised to know that the Kaaba is in the center of the world and the credit goes to the Muslims who first draw the map of the world. As Muslims we need to clarify all the concepts that other religions have some doubts about. The purpose of performing Tawaaf round the Kaaba is to show the belief that there is only one GOD whom we worship at one platform.

The concept of kissing the black stone of Kaaba is the Sunnah of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) that all Muslims follow during Tawaaf. Hazrat Umer (R.A) said that “I know that you are a stone and can neither benefit nor harm. Had I not seen the Prophet (pbuh) touching (and kissing) you, I would never have touched (and kissed) you”. In the prophet’s time people use to stand on the Kaaba to say Adaan, now there is a valid question that is at the same time is the best answer of their question is that which idol worshipper stand on the idol he worships. Focus on Quran Reading to avoid such ambiguous questions. Jazak Allah Khair

The Channels Of Zakat

Zakat is one of the most important pillars of Islam that helps to purify our wealth every year by giving the right part of wealth to the needy and poor people. Allah Almighty categorized the eligible persons of Zakat. Professional teachers in Online Quran program teach us about the five pillars of Islam and now days giving lecture on Zakat as the holy month Ramadan is near to come. The categories are eight that we will discuss one by one.

  • The poor is eligible to receive the amount of Zakat to fulfill his needs, the amount could be in the form of drinks, foods, housing, clothing or in term of cash.
  • The needy or called Miskeen who have more or less poverty then a poor man in all matters. Prophet (p.b.u.h) said that “The Miskeen is not the one who goes around among the people (begging) maybe receiving a crumb or two, and a date or two. Rather, the Miskeen is the one who does not have enough wealth to be enough him, however he does not let others know about it in order to be given donations and he does not stand and request people.” (Al-Bukhari)
  • The slaves or the new Muslims those don’t have sufficient wealth to satisfied their needs.
  • We can give Zakat to non-Muslims that they may convert to Islam.
  • To the person who can’t pay off the debt.
  • You can give the Zakat to the wayfarer who spent all the money in travel even if he is rich man in his town.
  • If you failed to find such kind of persons then give Zakat in the way of Allah.

All in all, pay it with the intention of paying due Zakat that is compulsory to pay. Online Quran also teach us that we should also prepare our goal to pay it solely for the sake of Allah with the honest intention as it is a state for the acceptance of every act or worship.
