Following Islamic Path That Leads To Humanity

One of the most difficult teachings of Islamic tradition is that path of divine presence does not go through a creed, an institution or location, instead it goes through humanity. There is a close connection that exists between humanity and Allah and it goes back to the basic foundation of the religion Islam. A good Quran Teacher will tell you about following the right path of Islam. Holy Quran records the creation of all humanity like communication between Allah and angel. Unlike angels and Jinn who are made of light and fire, humans are quite opposite and are made of both spirit and clay.

Humanity is the ultimate paradox that is created by the Almighty Allah and it has the divine breath inside. If the fellow human beings are observed in a worst case scenario by having the concept in mind that person in front can cause mischief then it means that the true manner of Quranic angels are not followed. You are following the manners of Satan, if you look at yourself.

There was once a question asked by the angel from Almighty Allah that what humans should do, Allah answered to this question: “I know something that you do not.”  Allah knows about the potential of human being while angels do not know it. Allah has worked with humans, taught human and redeemed all the humans in order to set up human as the representative of Allah. Prophet Muhammad (P.B.U.H) was sent to perfect the divine matters in all humans.

Concept Of Jihad In The Religion Islam

Jihad is an Arabic word and an Islamic term; it is the religious duty of each and every Muslim. In the Arabic language, word Jihad means “struggle”. Jihad appears almost 41 times in the Holy Quran. A person who is engaged in Jihad is known as Mujahid. Its plural is mujahedeen. Jihad is an important duty of each and every Muslim. Some Muslims regard it as the sixth pillar of Islam.

Quran, Holy Quran, Qur’an, learn Quran

According to the dictionary of Islam, “Jihad is the religious war with those who are the non-believers and do not have faith in the mission of Muhammad (P.B.U.H) and it serves as a purpose of expanding the religion Islam and repelling the evil from the Muslims.” It is said by an orientalist that Jihad refers to the military meaning in most of the cases. In the western societies, term jihad is translated by the non-Muslims as the “Holy War”. Scholars of the Islamic studies focus on a point that all these words are not synonymous. Most of the Muslim authors reject this type of approach and stress on the non-militant connotations of word.

It is believed that most people in the West refer the word “Jihad” to terrorism. Unfortunately, most of the people fail to understand that this is a misconception. This concept is very much famous in anti-Islamic groups who portray the real picture of Islam in a very bad way. They also fail to realize that Islam is a religion of tranquility and peace. It does not promote terrorism and is very much understood in today’s world.

Islamic Point Of View On Violence

Some people including the Muslims and non-Muslims believe that Holy Quran tells about violence, which is a very wrong concept as Islam is a religion of peace and its teachings are based on unquestionable proofs and evidence. Although this fact must not be stated for Islam, but it is self-explanatory in terms of the noble teachings and meanings and the main message of Islam was conveyed by Allah to all the mankind. A good Quran Teacher will definitely help you in understanding the teaching of Islam about Violence.

There are various verses of Holy Quran that tell about peace as it is said: “…But if they turn away, seize them and slay them wherever ye find them; and (in any case) take no friends or helpers from their ranks” (Al-Nisaa’ 4: 89).

The above mentioned verses do not give permission to anybody to kill another person. All these verses were mentioned by Allah to Muhammad (P.B.U.H) and these verses were revealed when all the Muslims were attacked by the other non-Muslims of Makkah on regular basis. The Muslim communities of Medina were frightened by people. It can be said that there were many attacks on Medina from terrorists and under that situation, all the Muslims were given the permission to fight back against terrorists.

All such type of statements were not against the terrorism and there were warnings against any kind of such an act. The need of hour is to study the religious text in its proper context so that one can better understand its true meanings and not the distorted one.

Declaration of Holy Quran about Astronomies and the Views of Professor Armstrong

Professor Armstrong was asked various questions about the verses of Quran related to his field of work and specialization. He was asked: “ You discovered and saw the true nature of the astronomy and by the use of equipments like satellites and rockets that are developed by man. You have also seen the facts that are mentioned by the Holy Quran various centuries ago. So what is your opinion about the relation of the findings of science related with Holy Quran?

Professor Armstrong was quite astonished to see the findings and he said that I am very much impressed with the findings of Holy Quran and how they correlate with the modern science, he also admitted that “ I am not sufficient enough scholar of the human history to project myself some 1400 years ago and predict all the truth.  If you Learn Quran, you will find about some of the greatest truths about astronomy that scientists have explained today.

He explained that there are some findings beyond his understandings and an ordinary human being will not be able to account for the writings that have been seen. Upon asking about the facts of Quran, Armstrong said:

” I am quite impressed by finding the true facts of astronomy in the Holy Quran, and for all the modern astronomers who are studying a small piece of universe. As with the help of telescopes, we are only able to see the whole universe. So by reading Holy Quran, we think that we can find more ways for the future investigations.”

Quran Teaches Love For Humanity

In the verse 111, chapter 3, it is said: “You are the best people raised for the good of mankind: you enjoy good and forbid evil and believe in Allah.”

It is clear from the above mentioned verse that all the Muslims have been told to serve the mankind in the best possible manner and they must promote goodness. If they do not achieve this, then they cannot get into the list of best people. If you study Live Quran, you will then know about the love of Humanity. But the teachings of Islam say that Muslims must serve mankind with kindness and love.

According to the teachings of Quran, every person must display kindness to every other person, regardless of how they behave with you. By following these teachings, you can create love, peace, and harmony in the society. Prophet Muhammad (P.B.U.H) emphasized on sympathy, kindness, and love towards all the mankind and said: “One who is not grateful to mankind is not grateful to Allah.”

In another place it is said: “None among you is a true believer unless he loves for others what he loves for himself.”All the creatures in this world are created by Allah, therefore they should be treated with kindness.

They are those on who (DESCEND) blessings from Allah and mercy and they are the ones that receive guidance.”

Surah Al-Baqarah [2:155]

Idol Worship: Why Do The Muslims Worship, And Bow Down To The Kaaba In Their Prayer?

Kaaba is the house of Allah or the holiest place of worship and it is the Qibla or the direction that Muslims face during their prayers. There is the need of intellectual abilities to think that Muslims just face the Kaaba to offer their prayers but not bow to it. The purpose to face the Kaaba is the proof of the unity of all Muslims on one point that Allah is one and there is no one whom we worship except Allah. Quran Reading is the best habit if we try to develop it on our daily basis so surly we will come to know the realities of Islam and its rules.

“We see the turning of thy face (for guidance) to the heavens: now shall we turn thee to a Qibla that shall please thee. Turn then thy face in the direction of the holy Mosque: wherever ye are, turn your faces in that direction.”(2:144). you will be surprised to know that the Kaaba is in the center of the world and the credit goes to the Muslims who first draw the map of the world. As Muslims we need to clarify all the concepts that other religions have some doubts about. The purpose of performing Tawaaf round the Kaaba is to show the belief that there is only one GOD whom we worship at one platform.

The concept of kissing the black stone of Kaaba is the Sunnah of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) that all Muslims follow during Tawaaf. Hazrat Umer (R.A) said that “I know that you are a stone and can neither benefit nor harm. Had I not seen the Prophet (pbuh) touching (and kissing) you, I would never have touched (and kissed) you”. In the prophet’s time people use to stand on the Kaaba to say Adaan, now there is a valid question that is at the same time is the best answer of their question is that which idol worshipper stand on the idol he worships. Focus on Quran Reading to avoid such ambiguous questions. Jazak Allah Khair

Modesty in Islam

A lot of people learn Quran daily. However, in the today’s world there are a lot of misconceptions about the Holy Quran and the Islamic way of living among the non-Muslims and among the Muslims too. The Muslim community overall and the Muslims scholars in particular are responsible for this trend.

Of course there is not anything ambiguous in Islam, the people who learn Quran confirm. Due to wrong practices and wrong explanations, some scholars have made the Islamic School of thought nearly inacceptable to the civilized world. This is an alarming situation. For example the teenage Muslims of today are very frustrated. They say they are always told about the rights of parents in Islam and are never told about the Rights of Children in Islam.

The modesty in Islam is also a rarely touched topic by the scholars who claim that they learn Quran better than the ordinary Muslims. Of course there are a lot of discussions on the women’s Hijab, but not about the purification of the heart from the evil thoughts. The Holy Quran also demands modesty from men. They are ordered to dress modestly and to lower their gaze.

If we learn Quran, we would find that the religion if Islam puts a lot of stress on the society to be healthy. It is only possible through the modest hearts that a healthy society can form.
